Shanghai: Travelling through villages over a thousand years old - which have been transformed into tourism money spinners on the outskirts of Shanghai with my Dad, who diligently avoided being in any photos.

Michael Bevan is the enigmatic and cheeky busker otherwise known as Catfish the Bottleman. He busks on the corner of Hay and Thomas Street outside Market City on most weekends if the sun is out and and the sky is blue. I met Michael whilst researching the 'streeties' and buskers of Sydney for a documentary project.

Tokyobike Diary is about the warm summer sun on your skin, the cool breeze through your hair and the joys of riding your bike everyday. The feeling of complete freedom and childhood nostalgia were both key inspirations for the film and we really wanted to incite action, we wanted the film to encourage people to get back on a bike and feel like a kid again.

Beauty and the Beast magazine is an exploration of public space in Sydney, Australia. It was produced as part of a
multidisciplinary project which included visual communicators, interior designers and industrial designers.

Manifesto: How is public space perceived and defined in a city? Why is public space public, who owns it and how is this
defined? What are the boundaries, if any, of public space? Beauty and the Beast attempts to investigate these questions
and notions of space by seeking out the most abstract, peculiar and accidental of spaces throughout Sydney, and while
some exist in the public eye, others lurk just out of sight.

The Portraiture Project is an ongoing project of portraits shot exclusively on B&W Polaroids with only natural light. The aim of the project is to constrain myself to 1 pack of film at any given time - I believe that you only see a few moments worth capturing every so often, thus reframing your way of seeing and valuing moments. Each pack is 10 shots and there is absolutely no auto-focus or light meter. The idea is to push myself with said constraints so that each and every picture is beautifully composed and to force yourself to really evaluate your surroundings. The trappings of modern photographers starting out is that every shot has a second or third or tenth opportunity to be good. I really think it's a great challenge to make sure each shot is a great one, rather than just a consequential number of clicks.

The Glaswegian Lass & Nick, The Simpson is a photographic series of accidents and experiments. The project was inspired by early 19th century photographic portraiture. And just like sitting for an oil painting, my subjects were very, very patient.

Sleep Deprivation & The Joy of Losing Grip is a short film about a man, his dog and the unbearable heaviness of
melancholia. An essay on inertia and depression, this film is a visual portrait of internalized feelings strongly influenced
by the concept of Weltschmerz.
